Beyond Certification

A real career in weddings starts with the right training.

You've been researching how to become a wedding planner. You've watched the reels, read the blogs, maybe planned your own wedding and thought, I could actually do this.

You probably can, but wanting this career and knowing how to begin well are not the same thing.

Too many programs are built to sell access, not build readiness: pre-recorded lessons, chapter quizzes, and a certificate handed over whether you truly learned the material or not. No live instruction. No real feedback. No mentorship.

Because when a couple hires you to plan their wedding, they are not asking whether you passed a quiz. They are trusting you with one of the most meaningful days of their lives.

That kind of trust requires more than self-paced videos and a certificate.

It requires real training, real mentorship, and real preparation before the responsibility is yours.

Imagine Starting Your Career Like This:

01.

Walking into your first client meeting knowing exactly what to say.

You've practiced the consultation. You've been coached on it. You know how to listen for what couples actually need and present your services with confidence.

02.

Having every tool, template, and system ready before you book your first wedding.

Contracts that protect you. Pricing that reflects real scope. A CRM already set up. You don't scramble to figure it out. You launch with it.

03.

Earning a credential that means something because you proved you were ready.

Not a certificate you clicked through. A professional certification earned through 12 weeks of live training, a group cohort, and real-world application.

“I don't think any other program out there would have prepared me like this one. 'Comprehensive' is an understatement. AAWP doesn't just teach you about wedding planning. It turns you into a wedding planner.

— Amber, AAWP Graduate

AFTER 12 WEEKS, YOU'LL HAVE the Skills, Structure, and Standard TO LAUNCH WITH CONFIDENCE

01.

The confidence to plan a wedding from first meeting to final send-off. You'll know how to lead consultations, build timelines, manage budgets, coordinate vendors, and handle wedding-day logistics with calm authority. Every core skill is taught with real-world application, so you're not figuring it out on a live event.

02.

A wedding planning business built on more than talent alone. You'll learn how to structure your pricing, create your packages, set up contracts, handle licensing, market your services, and build client systems that support long-term growth. Not just how to plan weddings. How to run a business that lasts.

03.

Professional tools you can use from day one. You'll leave with customizable planning templates, client materials, business forms, polished packets, and a downloadable certified logo. These are not filler resources. They're practical tools shaped by real client work and real wedding-day demands.

04.

Guidance from a planner who still works at the highest level. Brooke Voris is not teaching from the sidelines. She actively plans weddings, manages vendor relationships, and helps couples navigate high-stakes decisions every season. You're learning from someone who still sets the standard in the industry.

Meet Your Instructor

For more than two decades, Brooke Voris has been one of the wedding industry's most respected and influential professionals.

Brooke is the only certified AAWP trainer in the world who is also a working Elite Wedding Concierge, actively planning weddings while training the next generation of professionals.

She's spent over twenty years as a working wedding planner, building Brooke Voris Weddings into one of the Philadelphia region's most respected luxury and destination wedding practices. Through Fly With The Peacocks, she serves as Certification Director for the AAWP Certification.

She leads the AAWP Certification because she watched too many talented people enter this industry unprepared. They took on clients before they were ready. They underpriced their work. They made avoidable mistakes that cost them money, reputation, and confidence. The training programs that were supposed to help were often little more than pre-recorded slideshows with a certificate at the end. Brooke decided that wasn't good enough.

The AAWP Certification was founded by Deb McCoy and has been a recognized credential in the wedding industry for over 25 years. Brooke is now the steward of that legacy. She refined the curriculum for 2026, rebuilding it around live mentorship, real-world application, and the actual demands of today's wedding planner.

When she's not teaching or planning, she hosts the Cheers to You! podcast and leads the VIPeacocks professional community through Fly With The Peacocks.

HERE'S MY PROMISE to you.

If you show up, do the work, move through the modules, come to the sessions, and take this seriously, I will not let you leave this program feeling alone, confused, or unprepared.

And if you get to the end and still don't feel ready to step into this work with confidence, reach out. We'll figure out where the gap is, and we'll close it together.

People who are willing to show up and do the work should not fall through the cracks. Not here. Not with me.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need experience in the wedding industry to enroll?

No. The program is designed for aspiring planners at any starting point, including career changers. Brooke builds from the ground up.

What if I've already been planning weddings?

You'll fill the gaps, formalize your systems, and add a recognized professional credential. Several students have come in with experience and said the program gave them the structure they were missing.

How much time does the program require each week?

5-8 hours. That includes the recorded lesson (released Sundays), workbook exercises, and the live Thursday session with Brooke.

Is the AAWP Certification recognized?

Yes. The AAWP has been a recognized credential in the wedding industry for over 25 years, founded by Deb McCoy. Brooke now leads the certification through Fly With The Peacocks.

What if I miss a live session?

All sessions are recorded. But the live component is where Brooke goes deepest: Q&A, coaching, real stories. Attendance matters.

Is there a payment plan?

Yes. You can pay in full or choose a 3-month or 6-month payment plan. You can choose your payment option at checkout.

How is this different from other certifications?

Most are self-paced video libraries with quizzes and a completion certificate. The AAWP is 12 weeks of live training with a working planner, guest experts, real-world application, and a graduation assessment. You earn this credential.

Can I add private mentorship to my enrollment?

Yes. When you enroll, you'll have the option to add VIP Mentorship, which includes three private 1:1 sessions with Brooke during the course and direct Slack access throughout. After checkout, graduates with VIP Mentorship can also extend their support for six months post-graduation.

Have a Question About Whether This Is Right for You?
